You will be able to check in to on-site accommodation anytime from 2pm on Thursday 18th July in the JMCC Reception Centre, which is open 24 hours.

The downstairs bar in the JMCC is open from 11am-11pm every day, and we also have relaxation space in the form of common rooms in some of the accommodation blocks. (We are awaiting confirmation from the licence holder about exact details regarding children being allowed in the bar and will let you know as soon as we get this.)

If the bar isn’t your thing, the extinct volcano known as Arthur’s Seat, which offers amazing views over the city, and the Royal Commonwealth Pool are both close to the site. (And of course, there’s plenty more things to do in central Edinburgh as well.)

Registration for BiCon 2013 itself will open at 8.30am on Friday 19 July and there will be a full daytime workshop and evening entertainment programme on Friday and Saturday, and a day time workshop programme on Sunday 18 July until 2pm, when BiCon will officially end.

We will also have a “BiCon comedown” programme from 2-4pm on Sunday and anyone who is still around is welcome to help clean up between 4pm and 5pm.

On all days the JMCC Restaurant will be open for breakfast from 7.30-10am; for lunch from 12.30-2pm, and for dinner from 6-8pm. Breakfast is FREE for those who have booked on-site accommodation.

We will post further timetable details here on the website, and share them on the BiCon 2013 Twitter feed and Facebook page as well as in future newsletter when we’ve finalised the programme.
